Morpheus at City of Dreams
Morpheus looks like a block of glass that has been carved straight through. Zaha Hadid Architects wrapped the tower in a free-form steel exoskeleton, so the structure sits on the outside and the floors within stay open, while three sculpted voids pierce the building from side to side. Inside, a tall atrium with glass lifts lets you watch the geometry shift as you ride up, which turns even the trip down to breakfast into part of the visit.
Rooms take their cue from the façade, with clean lines, large windows and a calm, muted palette that suits a longer stay. The rooftop pool looks out over the Cotai Strip, and because the hotel belongs to the wider City of Dreams complex, restaurants, shops and sister hotels are reachable under one roof. The gaming floor sits in the shared podium below; staying here never requires you to cross it, and the neighbouring Cotai resorts are a short walk away.
